Florida Attorney Benjamin Crump held a press conference at the Marriott where he was attending the Omega Psi Phi fraternity of seventh District annual meeting.
The brotherhood is making a national call to action on behalf of the Martin family demanding justice for the fatally shot 17-year-old.His lawyer said police recently released video of George Zimmerman contradicts his claims that Martin wounded him.
Crump said that there must be an end to racial profiling and stand your ground laws."We are not asking for a condemnation. We want a simple arrest. We want exactly what they would have done had the trigger man Trayvon Martin is. There is no doubt in our mind he would be arrested on the spot and one day, an hour would still be in jail without bail, "said Crump.
